On Wednesday 24th of April  Volunteers are asked to come and help with the Minster Grounds

Plan for the day – remove ivy from walls; prepare ground for feature flower bed remove ivy and shrubs from grave stones and generaly tidy up to make the Minster look the Part this spring and summer (WHICH WILL ARRIVE HONEST)!

The campaign, backed by Keep Britain Tidy, is about everyone doing their bit and taking responsibility to change the way people think and act about littering.

We all love something about where we live and this campaign is about everyone working together to make change happen.

More than 800 people including volunteers, schoolchildren and businesses took part in a series of community makeovers, cleanups and bulb planting events last year with many more events planned in the coming months.

However and whenever you wish to get stuck in, we can support you so that you can join the thousands of people who want to look after the place we all call home.
